I have been getting phone calls from past customers that are in a panic about water leaking in their homes because of the ice dams. After some research on the web there is an immediate fix to fight this problem. I have tried it on a couple of homes and have had good success. I believe this information needs to be known before it's too late.

If you are going to do this yourself a few bits of info.
1) Spread the tubes about ten feet apart along your gutter.
2) I also suggest you tie a string to the top end of the tube long enough to reach the ground so you don't have to climb the ladder again to remove them.
3) For best results you should clear two to three feet of snow on the roof above the gutter.

K-BRITE is offering to do this for you with two different services.

1) Make and place the tubes with only clearing the snow where the tub is to be placed
2) Remove two to three feet of snow on the roof then place the tubes.

Note: For obvious safety reasons some roofs may not be accessible for snow removal.
